Stapleton homes
Built for Stapleton’s houses and buildings
Stapleton climbs from the Bay Street waterfront up to Stapleton Heights, and the housing changes block by block, from 19th-century frame houses to recent apartment buildings by the water.
Stapleton Heights Victorians
Older wood-frame houses on steep hillside streets, with high ceilings, original trim and out-of-square rooms where bookcases and paneling are scribed to fit.
Row houses & two-family homes
Brick and frame houses on the flatter blocks off Bay Street, where kitchens and closets are reworked floor by floor and pieces are sized for narrow stairs.
Waterfront apartment buildings
Newer buildings near the former Navy homeport site, where closets and storage are fitted around standard layouts and deliveries follow building management rules.
Shops & studios on Bay Street
Storefronts, studios and small offices along the commercial strip that need shelving, wall displays and counters built to the fit-out drawings.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How far is Stapleton from your shop?
Our shop is at 4014 1st Ave in Industry City, Brooklyn. Pieces are delivered by truck across the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge on a scheduled day.
Can you fit built-ins to an older Stapleton Heights house?
Yes. Pieces are built to final site measurements, so they can be scribed to walls, floors and ceilings that are not square and fitted around original trim.
Do you work in the newer waterfront apartment buildings?
Yes. We build closets and cabinetry to your layout and plan delivery around the building’s elevator, loading area and work-hour rules.
How do I start a project?
Send photos, measurements or drawings through our contact page, or call 718-483-5274, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
